Description
Our lessons and small class sizes (a maximum of 4 people) emphasize safety and the art of surfing, including how to stand on the board, how to ride a wave and how to understand conditions.
We guarantee you will surf! Surf lessons are available daily in the morning or afternoon. We provide the surfboards, so all you need to do is wear your swimsuit and show up!
Learn all the basics during these easy lessons conducted by a professional instructor. All surfing gear is included. Children can surf too! Our only requirements are that our guests be strong swimmers and have confidence in the water!
We take you to an area with very forgiving waves - not boring, but not treacherous. Forget about crowds, only a few people know about our surfing areas! And, after all your fun in the sun and surf, let us drive you back to your Waikiki hotel.
All students must meet the following requirements:
1) Minimum age of 6 years old.
2) Be a strong swimmer. Non-swimmers are not allowed.
3) Be comfortable in the water. PFD/life vest is provided.
4) Wetsuits are not needed. Wear a bathing suit.
5) Advise of any medical conditions.

This was one of our best trips in Hawaii! The people at the shop were super friendly. We were allowed to use any equipment we wanted. Kayaking was awesome. The beach was beautiful and we got to hang out there for 2.5 hours. Even the pizza was delicious; coming from a New Yorker.

The instructor was very kind and courteous, very helpful in my attempts to surf. If you're going to Hawaii and want to surf, this is the company to utilize.

The area they took us to was a long walk and very rocky. I have had lessons before and the instructors were much more helpful.

There were only 3 of us for the surf lesson. My husband and myself and another guy who had been surfing everyday for 10 days! We didn't go to Kailua Bay, we went to Ala Moana Bay and let me tell you, those waves weren't small and they were fast! I've never surfed before and after wiping out twice, I quit because I was so afraid and I consider myself a strong swimmer. My husband stuck with it and managed to ride a wave and he seemed to enjoy it, but this was more of a crash course in surfing instead of a lesson. We didn't even practice how to stand up on the board before getting in the water! I would like to try surfing again because I think I would be good at it, but next time I definitely want to start with smaller, slower waves. Just for your information, my husband would rate the surf lesson 3 stars. Do this lesson at your own risk and don't underestimate the water!
