Description
At Oahu's Polynesian Cultural Center you can spend the evening immersed in the cultural traditions and lifestyles of the eight individual South Pacific cultures and experience the largest Polynesian song and dance review in the world!
Hawaii's Polynesian Cultural Center, located an hour's scenic drive from Waikiki, is one of the top Oahu attractions. The eight native villages give you the rare chance to participate in the daily adventures of Hawaiian and other South Pacific cultures. Add Hawaii's most authentic luau and the world's largest Polynesian night show and you'll see why every trip to Hawaii should include a visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center.
The eight island villages showcase Polynesian cultures of Hawaii, Samoa, the Marquesas, Fiji, New Zealand, Tonga, Tahiti and Rapa Nui. Real Polynesians share knowledge about their traditional customs and you can watch the demonstrations or join in. Take a canoe ride on the lagoon and enjoy an IMAX film. Kids will love getting ink tattoos, spear throwing, ukulele lessons and fishing.
No evening at the center would be complete without "Ha", an ancient, yet universal tale. Over 100 native performers dressed in authentic attire will share their traditions and culture with you. See exciting fire walkers and knife dancers.
Please note: these options are for the evening twilight packages and include admission after 4:00pm only.

We got in @ 1430 and watched part of the shows before partaking in a yummy feast. The food was great. But the evening entertainment was excellent. We greatly enjoyed it .

You simply get alot for what you pay and the ambassador package was amazing. Though I only did the twilight package it was very informing, enjoyed the scene and the food and the luau satisfied me!

This was my 2nd visit and was completely surprised with the change of venue. I saw Horizons the 1st time and Ha Breath of Life, the 2nd time. They both "blew me away " with the production. I was completely absorbed. As for the menu, it was very good. I would forgo the dessert so you could have the yummy sorbet they offer at the show.

Had a wonderful time. Leon our guide was informative and entertaining. I recommend having a guided tour as there is not enough time to visit all the different parts and would not have known where to start.

The show and food was fantastic but we did have a mix up on our booking about the pick up time.
The internet site was not clear about times for pickup and when we rang to confirm they had already
expected us to be there when we hadnt even arrived at the airport! The information on the website where
we booked was really unclear as to times for pickup etc.

Tour guide was short tempered. She did not explain what we were to do and in what order. I was very confused but at least I was not alone. Other members of the tour were even more lost. Buffet was okay, there were about 800 people all eating at once so it did not feel in any way authentic or special. The show that was on during dinner reminded me of a Reno act and it was over quickly. The park itself is very beautiful - so is all of Hawaii. I would have loved to have been able to explore the north shore for a bit after milling around the shops for 4 hours. The show, Ha Breath was awesome though. No other way to say it. We loved it from start to finish and so, I would recommend that people see it. Might as well not mess around with the hectic and crowded buffet or the nakedly revenue-centric shops/park. Just see the show.
