One Day In Maui - Hana Adventure (Bus/Airplane)

Description

Fly onboard a passenger jet and enjoy their beverage service, which includes complimentary coffee and fruit juice served before 11:00 AM and soft drinks after 11:00 AM. Beer and wine are available for purchase.

We'll provide complimentary pickup from your Waikiki hotel to Honolulu International Airport, where our tour representative will meet you at check-in for our short flight to spectacular Maui on a commercial jet!

Upon arrival at Kahului Airport in Maui, you'll meet our professional driver-guide and travel in a comfortable air-conditioned deluxe mini-coach as you learn about the history and splendor of Maui and its surrounding coastline.

Drive around Maui's east coast to Paia town as we head out on the "Road to Hana!" The drive to Hana is approximately 2 to 4 hours depending on traffic, stops and the weather.

At Kaumahina State Park, you'll enjoy a scenic viewpoint of northeast Maui's gorgeous coastline. Then, make an approximately 15-minute stop at Keanae Valley Lookout for beautiful views of Maui's taro fields.

At Pua'a Ka'a State Park, you'll see the Pua'a Lu'u Falls, located right under the highway bridge. The two waterfalls and pools are just a short walk from the highway with lots of ginger and heliconia plants along the way.

Next, visit Hana Town and Hasegawa General Store. The lovely "Old Hawaii" of Hana Town is on Maui's easternmost tip, set between the mountain pastures of Hana Ranch and the deep blue of Hana Bay.

These views make it easy to see why the town is so often called "Heavenly Hana." Stop here for about 30 minutes, allowing for ample sightseeing and narration by our guide. Be sure to check out the oldest store in Hana.

Swim in the Ohe'o Stream and Pools, also known as the Seven Sacred Pools (weather and time permitting). These large plunge pools are formed as waterfalls spill over ledges. Then, in East Maui, view the spectacular 100-foot Wailua Falls, one of the most photographed falls in Maui.

Drive past Ho'okipa, the windsurfing capital of the world! Ho'okipa in Hawaiian means "hospitality." On a windy day, you may see hundreds of the best windsurfers performing amazing acrobatics on the ocean's waves!

After a full day of sightseeing and exploring, head back to Kahului Airport and board your return flight to Honolulu! Our friendly driver will meet you at the airport and provide complimentary transportation to your Waikiki hotel!

Upgrade to the lunch option and enjoy a delightful no-host luncheon stop, available with Hawaiian Airlines only.

One Day In Maui - Hana Adventure (Bus/Airplane)

TSA Security Info: The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires you to enter the following for each traveler: full name (as it appears on passport or government issued ID) and date of birth.  Failure to provide this information could result in additional TSA screening.

Due to the extreme popularity of this 1-day tour, a minimum 10-day advance booking is required. Anything booked within 10 days will be subject to availability.
Once reservation is made, tour is Non-Refundable and Non-Changeable.

Warning: Rough road! This tour is not recommended for pregnant women, young children and those with motion sickness or back problems.

THE NAMES GIVEN TO US MUST BE EXACTLY AS THEY APPEAR ON EACH PASSENGER'S PHOTO I.D.

Our Interisland Air Carriers will deny boarding if the passenger's legal name, as shown on their valid, government-issued ID, does not match the name on their Voucher. This is a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and FAA requirement. Air Carriers proven to be non-compliant are subject to severe penalties; thus, there is no flexibility with this policy.

You will be REQUIRED to show a picture ID to board the plane. Passengers denied boarding due to their lack of proper identification will be subject to a 100% no-show cancellation penalty.

Please Note:

Air travelers may now carry liquids, gels & aerosols in their carry-on bag when going through security checkpoints. With certain exceptions for prescription and over-the-counter medicines, baby formula/breast milk & other essential liquids, gels & aerosols, the following rules apply to all liquids, gels & aerosols you want to carry through a security checkpoint.

Make Your Trip Better Using 3-1-1
3–1–1 for carry-ons = 3 ounce bottle or less; 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin. One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring. 3 oz. container size is a security measure.

Consolidate bottles into one bag and X-ray separately to speed screening. Be prepared. Each time TSA searches a carry-on it slows down the line. Practicing 3-1-1 will ensure a faster and easier checkpoint experience.

Declare larger liquids. Prescription medications, baby formula & milk are allowed in quantities exceeding three ounces and are not required to be in the zip-top bag. Declare these items for inspection at the checkpoint.

The tour guide was very nice and kept things going, even when slow. The back side, where the roads were rough, was worth seeing, but after awhile it got old, people were sleeping, and nodding out during the last hour of the tour. The rain forest was nice, the first part was great, could have used more of it, or went the other direction instead of the back part.

The trip was smooth from the pick-up in the hotel, to the airport, arrival in the airport, the tour, back to the airport, pick-up from the airport to the hotel. The tour guide was very informative. We would definitely book tours from you again.

The day trip to Maui was great. I love scenery and dislike cities so Maui was a wonderful change from Honolulu where I was attending a seminar.
