No hard tickets are issued or required for the tours. You will receive an email confirmation (voucher) with your confirmation number. Please print this up and present to your driver on the tour day. Your driver will have your name listed on the pick up sheet when he/she arrives at your hotel.

Q2. Are there any further discounts for children, senior citizens, travel club members, multiple bookings, etc?
All of our tours are already discounted off the normal retail (hotel) prices. We guarantee the lowest all inclusive prices and when senior/child prices are available you will see them listed on the information pages. Unfortunately, we cannot offer additional discounts on the tours. For groups of 10 or more passengers we may have special group rates. Please click on the groups link at the bottom of the page for more information.

Q3. How can I check the safety record for your air tour companies?
Safety records can be obtained through the Federal Aviation Administration. Please feel free to check out their website at www.faa.gov.

Q4. What types of vehicles & aircraft are used for the tours?
HELICOPTER: AStar AS 350. AIRPLANE: Piper Chieftains & 15 passenger Dorniers.Cessna 206, 207, 402 the 206 and 207 are single prop the 402 is twin prop. 6, 8, & 9 Passenger. BUS: Newer Van Hool, MCI Renaissance, Dina Marco Polos. JEEP: Ford Excursion & Expedition, GMC Jeep & Suburban, Hummer.

Q5. Why do I need to give you my body weight if I’m taking an air or helicopter tour?
For your safety, the aircraft must be weight balanced. The passenger body weights are input into a computer, which determines where you will sit on the aircraft.

Q6. Will my tour be cancelled if the weather is bad?
At times, severe weather may prohibit your pilot or driver from safely operating your tour. In the event that your tour would be cancelled due to weather, you may either reschedule for another day or receive a full refund.

Q7. Will my tour be cancelled if it is undersold?
We offer guaranteed departures once you receive your confirmation. Some of our tours do require a minimum to operate but it is rare that they do not meet that minimum requirement because all the tours we offer are the most popular and the best tours around.

Q8. Can ashes be dropped from a helicopter or airplane?
Ashes cannot be dropped from any of the air tours. You would need to charter a private helicopter or airplane.

Q9. What is the difference between the Hoover Dam Hard Hat tour and the Hoover Dam Deluxe tour with the optional $10 interior tour fee?
The Hard Hat tour views approximately 90% of the dam in 1-hour/10 minutes approximately. The $10 interior tour option with the deluxe tour is only 30 minutes long and views approximately 20% of the dam interior.

Q10. Are the aircraft and buses handicap accessible?
HELICOPTER: No, however, passengers with small collapsable wheelchairs and a passenger to assist can travel. BUS: Yes. AIRPLANE: Sometimes (Please call for more information)

Q11. Are life jackets required for the Colorado River Raft tour?
Life jackets are required for all passengers ages 12 and under. Additional life jackets are available for other passengers as requested.

Q12. Can I take pictures from inside the airplane or helicopter?
Yes! The air tours provide a unique viewpoint on the land below. All passengers are guaranteed a window seat (Airplane only) so make sure to bring your camera.

Q13. Are the tours available in a language other than English?
Yes a multitude of languages are available, the main languages like French, Spanish, German, Japanese are always available. Check with the supplier on other languages. Usually only English available on bus tours

Q14. Is there a weight limit for the Glider/Sailplane?
Single Glider - 325lbs. Double Glider - combined weight of 350lbs

Q15. Is there an age limit for the horseback riding? Can my child ride with me?
Horseback riders must be 8 years or older. Only one person per horse.

Q16. What type of kayak is used?
The kayak is called an "Above Sea Kayak" it is very stable and anyone can use one.

Q17. What hotels do you pick up from?
We pick up at almost all Las Vegas hotels along the strip, close to the strip and downtown.

Q18. Are restroom facilities available on the raft tour? Off road tour?
No. Not on the raft or in the vehicle itself - you have to hold it. Covenience stops are made though.

Q19. Is the Grand Canyon temperature warmer than in Las Vegas?
The temperature is typically 5-10 degrees warmer than the temperature in Las Vegas in the bottom of the canyon, the rim of the canyon is usually about 15 degrees cooler.

Q20. What is the best time of day to take pictures at the Grand Canyon?
Typically the afternoon has less haze and the sun hits the canyon just right. Need to say that it¡¯s beautiful at all times but the afternoon is better for pictures.

Q21. What is the difference between the South Rim, West Rim & North Rim?
The South Rim is the wider and deeper part of the canyon. It is the more commercialized part of the Grand Canyon. The West Rim is just as beautiful, but far more rustic and undeveloped. This part of the canyon is also known as "Indian Country" due to the number of Indian Reservations that occupy the land. The North Rim has higher cliff faces and more forest like settings - They're all beautiful with awesome views.

Q22. I’m interested in the overnight package. How far outside the park is the hotel located?
The Maswick lodge is located inside the park about a 1/4 miles from the rim.

Q23. What does the picnic lunch typically contain?
Different lunches are provided on the different tours. A buffet hotel lunch is provided on the bus & airplane tours. A deli style turkey sandwich, side item, desert, bottled water and soft drinks is often provided on the ATV, Off Road, Van, Jeep/Hummer tours. Vegetarian meals upon request. We won't let your starve!

Q24. What is the age requirement for the Jet Ski?
Jet ski drivers must be 18 and older. Must be 16 to ride with older driver.

Q25. What if our tour bus is delayed due to traffic?
Will our park time be shortened? No. We make every attempt possible to ensure the tour duration described. Naturally, we cannot control any restrictions that may be imposed by the park itself.

Q26. What should I wear on my tour? Special items to bring?
Make sure you are dressed appropriately for the time of year. In the summertime, you should wear cool clothing and hats are a good idea. Protect yourself with sun block and drink lots of water. In the winter months, layer your clothing. For water based tours, many passengers choose to secure valuables in waterproof ziploc bags.

Q27. There are 4 people in my party but we want to make separate reservations with our own credit cards. How do we make sure we are on the same tour bus/airplane?
No problem! You will need to make 4 separate reservations. When making the reservation, please specify, in the special request box, which other passengers are in your party and that you wish to be on the same tour bus/airplane.

Q28. Will I be charged if I need to change my tour date or if someone in my party is unable to go on the tour?
Any cancellation is subject to a 100% per person cancellation fee if tour is cancelled within 24 hours of the tours date. There is no charge for changes outside of 24 hours. Cancellations outside of 24 hours receive a $25 per person administration fee - sorry!

Q29. It’s my birthday/anniversary/wedding/honeymoon! Can I arrange for a little extra for my trip?
Please note your special day in the special request box when reserving your tour and we'll be sure to let everybody know. Typically staff can say or sing happy birthday if requested and perhaps a toast with lunch, depending on the flexibility of our tour providers. Cake can occassionally be pre-ordered at extra cost.

Q30. Are gratuities included in the tour price?
Tips / Gratuities are generally not included with any tour company and are optional at your discretion. Standard tips are: 15% of tour cost (maximum $20 per couple).

Q31. Are the airplanes & helicopters pressurized?
No, smaller, low altitude aircraft are not pressurized. The altitude is not high enough for this to be necessary.

Q32. How long does the Grand Canyon bus tour stay at Hoover Dam?
For approx 15 minutes. Time enough for everyone to enjoy the view and take photographs, but not enough time to tour the interior of the dam.

Q33. Do you have to be able to swim to go on the white water rafting tour?
No, you can be fitted with a sturdy life jacket if you like and you will have training on what to do if you are thrown out of the raft, however this has yet to happen.

Q34. How long do you Jet Ski for on the Helicopter / Jetski tour?
For approx 1 hour. If you want lots of jetski time, then, the jetski tour allows you up to 6 hours of water time.

Q35. Is Spanish narration available for the Hoover Dam Hard Hat tour?
Yes, an interpreter can be arranged for the tour at an additional $100 charge

7 years and above

Q37. What is the safety record of your helicopter operators?
We use a number of different companies and they all have excellent safety records. Statistically speaking you are more like to be in an accident driving to the airport than flying in a helicopter.

Q38. What skill level is necessary to ride the horses on your horseback tours?
Everyone from first the time rider to the rodeo pro are welcome. The horses are all trained very well and there are horses for everyone even unfamiliar or nervous riders.

We are confident that our prices are the lowest all inclusive prices available and guarantee to match any price you may find. We are a proud member of the bureau of consumer affairs, better business bureau and chamber of commerce and DO NOT falsely advertise teaser or misleading prices. When calling the magazine advertisements you will find that the advertised prices are not the actual price of the tour, the price advertised often does not include tax, fuel fees, park entry fees or any extras and always ends up being more expensive.

Q41. What is the weather like in November and December at the Grand Canyon?
Typically around 60 degrees fahrenheit, the weather does not normally cause a disruption to our schedule and we find that our customers enjoy the different colors and contrasts of the winter months. It can snow at the Canyon and looks very impressive.

Q42. How soon should we reserve our tours?
We do sell out! Some tours sell out quicker than others, but, we do recommend booking as soon as possible so you can lock in our current prices in case they go up. Also you can get the reservation out of the way so you won’t have to worry about it any more. Please remember that if you arrive in Las Vegas without a tour reservation we may be sold out and if seats are available we cannot guarantee you will receive the low internet price. If you don’t like to book in advance and comfortable with higher prices give us a call, we'll still try and help you.
