Description

Meet our Hawaiian dolphins at Oahu's Sea Life Park for a once in a lifetime chance to participate in a very special program! After a short orientation, you’ll enjoy 30 minutes of dolphin fun!

Touch a dolphin and pose for a big KISS. Watch them perform various close contact behaviors, and you may have the chance to view the dolphins underwater all while a trainer educates you about these amazing animals.

Sea Life Park is a world-class marine attraction perched between the majestic Koolau Mountain Range and breathtaking Makapuu Beach. Dolphins dance, sea lions sing and penguins perform in this magical place by the sea.

Royal Swim (minimum age 8 years, minimum height 4 feet / 1.2 meters):
The most popular Swimming with Dolphins program, the Royal Swim includes a foot push, where a mischievous duo of dolphins push your feet from below to propel you full speed across the water's surface. Hold on tight to their dorsal fins for the thrill of a lifetime as you enjoy a hair-raising ride across the water! This, of course, is in addition to a welcome kiss from your adorable playmates.

Swim Adventure (minimum age 8 years, minimum height 4 feet / 1.2 meters):
Immerse yourself into the fascinating world of the dolphin and learn all about the dolphin's anatomy on the most interactive dolphin program in all of Hawaii! The dolphin greets you with a kiss on the cheek and a handshake, giving you a sense of closeness to this beautiful creature. Then, grab on to the dolphin's dorsal fin for an exciting belly-ride - a truly unique experience! Pet the dolphin, pose for a big dolphin kiss and learn all about the dolphin's anatomy, physiology and training techniques! Put on your snorkel and mask to see the dolphins as they speed and spiral through the water below you, demonstrating their amazing agility

Encounter Program (minimum age 1 year): Great for small children and those who don't want to venture into deep water, the Encounter program offers the chance to interact with friendly dolphins from a waist deep platform. You'll have the opportunity to hug and kiss the dolphin who will respond with a friendly kiss on the cheek! Watch the dolphins as they perform a series of amazing tricks and marvel at their astonishingly entertaining behavior.

Other Attractions at Sea Life Park Hawaii:

Dolphin Cove
Dolphins perform in this beautiful ocean-side lagoon complete with its own private island. Guests sit in the large open-air theater, which offers a panoramic view of the picturesque windward coastline, and are dazzled by our performing dolphins. The exciting theme show includes dolphin and audience participation. Show Times: 12:30pm.

Hawaiian Reef
The Hawaiian Reef Aquarium offers a close up view of Hawaii's underwater ecosystem from top to bottom. Over 2,000 reef animals and organisms, including sharks, sting rays, turtles, and various schools of tropical fish reside in this 300,000 gallon aquarium.

Hawaiian Ray Encounter
Our custom-designed Hawaiian Ray Encounter provides an environmentally authentic home for these shy aquatic creatures. Meet these curious and unusual animals face-to-face and watch, enchanted, as they glide effortlessly through the water, trailing their long, whip-like tails.

Hawaiian Ocean Theatre
Watch from above and below the surface of the water as dolphins perform in a large glass tank. This fun and educational show is designed to teach guests about the newest training techniques and Sea Life Park's conservation efforts. Show Times: 1:45pm & 3:30pm.

Kolohe Kai Surf Club
The surf’s always up here, where our mischievous sea lions are constantly ready to delight guests with their charming and humorous antics. It's wholesome, side-splitting fun for the entire family! Show Times: 11:15am & 2:30pm.

Sea Bird Sanctuary
Since the 1960's, Sea Life Park Hawaii has been a rehabilitation center for injured and sick sea birds. Over the last three decades, we have donated hundreds of man hours and thousands of dollars to this worthy cause.

At our Sea Bird Sanctuary you can see some of the birds that arrived at the park in sad circumstances and have been carefully and lovingly nursed back to health, as well as native Hawaiian sea birds such as the Iwa (Great Frigatebird). Session Times: 10:20am & 1:20pm.

Sea Turtle Lagoon
This fascinating exhibit area has another, more important purpose it doubles as a breeding sanctuary for the endangered Hawaiian green sea turtles (honu). We're very proud that, to date, over 2,200 hatchlings have been produced - and many have been released back to local populations, replenishing stocks and helping to solidify the species' presence.

During your visit you can discover how, as part of our ongoing program, we have partnered with accredited facilities and experts in the field, adding to our understanding of these beautiful creatures. Session Times: 11:00am, 11:35am & 1:30pm.

Rocky Shores
One of the most interesting aspects of the marine environment is the intertidal zone: sometimes land, sometimes sea. Many of the most interesting marine species have evolved in fascinating ways to be able to live in this area, and our Rocky Shores exhibit showcases, in breathtaking above and below water views, the best of Hawaii's intertidal wildlife.

Penguin Habitat
The Penguin Habitat is home to 11 beautiful Humboldt Penguins and is known for its successful breeding colony. Native to South America, these flightless sea birds are an endangered species.

Sea Life Park is an active participant in the American Zoological Association's Species Survival Plan for the Humboldt Penguin, and the Park's Penguin Habitat serves as a comfortable breeding site for this endangered species.

Show & Session times are subject to change without notice.

We had a grand time at the Sea Life Park. The exhibits were superb and the interaction with a dolphin was much fun, entertaining and educational. In particular we enjoyed the photos we were able to take home. My granddaughter Madeline hasn't stopped talking about it yet. Thank you very much for a very pleasant afternoon. We will be back.

We had a fantastic day. Wish we could have spent the whole day swimming with the dolphins. But then we would have missed the rest of the sea life park. Would do again if in Hawaii.

My grandaughters loved the dolphin encounter. They talked about it for the rest of our vacation. The pictures that were taken are wonderful. The photographer did a great job in capturing their excitement. I feel that this experience was well worth the money.

Definitely worth doing. I have swam with the dolphins before but the cradle hold was something I had not done before and was really special.

It was great! I just didn't know that there were going to be 8 persons with us at the same time so you share your 45 minites. Apart from that, everything was great. I am definitely going again, and I am definitely going to choose the royal swim!

At first I was concerned that there were 8 people in our group. Your web site says nothing about how large the group could be, or the time allowed with the dolphins. It says appoximately 45 min but if you get 8 in a group it makes the time more like 5 min per person for interaction with the dolphins. My family and I had 8 in our group but only 5 in the water. Overall, a great experience. But would recommend that you guys put specifics of number of people max in group. You do spend lots of time in tank, but personal time may be limited by number of people in the water.
