One Day In Maui - Haleakala, Iao Valley & Lahaina Adventure (Bus/Airplane)

Description

Fly onboard a passenger jet and enjoy their beverage service, which includes complimentary coffee and fruit juice served before 11:00 AM and soft drinks after 11:00 AM. Beer and wine are available for purchase.

Your morning begins with complimentary pickup at your Waikiki hotel. We'll drive you to the Honolulu International Airport for your interisland flight to Maui.

Upon your arrival at Kahului Airport in Maui, you’ll be met by our professional driver-guide. Travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned deluxe mini-coach as you learn about the history and splendor of Maui and its surrounding coastline.

Your exciting mini-coach tour will span approximately 9 hours and include multiple stops at the best sites on Maui! The order of stops is subject to change, but you will see everything!

Drive along the spectacular coastline of Maui, enjoying views of Kaho’olawe, a single shield volcano, which consists of a nearly filled caldera & a rift zone, which trends to the southwest.

Then, we are off to Haleakala, a 10,023-foot dormant volcano, which boasts the tallest peak on the island of Maui. The volcano last erupted in 1790. We'll stop at the Haleakala Visitor Center and enjoy panoramic views of the crater at the Pu’u Ulaula Overlook (park admission is included).

Drive through the turn-of-the-century charm of Wailuku with delightful views of sugarcane fields. Wailuku is the seat of government on Maui. Look for Ka’ahumanu Church, a Wailuku landmark, which was designed in the New England style by Edward Bailey.

Stop in the deep and lovely valley of Iao to see the Iao Needle, a natural rock pinnacle presiding over the Iao stream in Iao Valley State Park. Finally, visit Lahaina, often called the "jewel in the crown of Maui." Walk along Front Street and enjoy this quaint island town.

End your trip to Maui with transportation to the Kahului Airport for your return flight to Honolulu. We provide complimentary Waikiki hotel returns for your convenience.

TSA Security Info: The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires you to enter the following for each traveler: full name (as it appears on passport or government issued ID) and date of birth.  Failure to provide this information could result in additional TSA screening.

Due to the extreme popularity of this 1-day tour, a minimum 10-day advance booking is required. Anything booked within 10 days will be subject to availability. Once reservation is made, tour is Non-Refundable and Non-Changeable.

THE NAMES GIVEN TO US MUST BE EXACTLY AS THEY APPEAR ON EACH PASSENGER'S PHOTO I.D.

Our Interisland Air Carriers will deny boarding if the passenger's legal name, as shown on their valid, government-issued ID, does not match the name on their Voucher. This is a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and FAA requirement. Air Carriers proven to be non-compliant are subject to severe penalties; thus, there is no flexibility with this policy.

You will be REQUIRED to show a picture ID to board the plane. Passengers denied boarding due to their lack of proper identification will be subject to a 100% no-show cancellation penalty.

Please Note:

Air travelers may now carry liquids, gels & aerosols in their carry-on bag when going through security checkpoints. With certain exceptions for prescription and over-the-counter medicines, baby formula/breast milk & other essential liquids, gels & aerosols, the following rules apply to all liquids, gels & aerosols you want to carry through a security checkpoint.

Make Your Trip Better Using 3-1-1
3–1–1 for carry-ons = 3 ounce bottle or less; 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin. One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring. 3 oz. container size is a security measure.

Consolidate bottles into one bag and X-ray separately to speed screening. Be prepared. Each time TSA searches a carry-on it slows down the line. Practicing 3-1-1 will ensure a faster and easier checkpoint experience.

Declare larger liquids. Prescription medications, baby formula & milk are allowed in quantities exceeding three ounces and are not required to be in the zip-top bag. Declare these items for inspection at the checkpoint.

The tour was great! We saw a lot of sights you would probably never see anywhere else but Maui. Our tour guide was very friendly and it seemed that he knew everything about Hawaii. The bus was comfortable, too. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends. And even more, I would go again myself!

We truly enjoyed the way the tour was conducted. It was handled professionally both at Oahu and at Maui. The driver guide was a truly professional guy and has enormous information on the sites where he took us. You have to be careful about the pick-up and drop-off points in advance as there were many kinds of tours combined into one lot before the distribution at the Honolulu airport. It was a memorable and enjoyable tour overall. I shall appreciate everyone who was involved in the coordination, guiding and conducting such multi-faceted, geographically distributed tours. Kudos to all.

Covered these places on Maui very well. Bus got a little behind in time (accident) so we didnt feel we had enough time in Lahaina. Also, we would like the tour to at least drive by the "resort areas" of Kaanapali.
